Easy Concept ("we", "us") sells gadgets and accessories in Harare, Zimbabwe, through our mobile app and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
Account & contact information
Your name and phone number — provided when you register, place an order as a guest, or sign in with Google or Apple. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we also receive the email address on that account (Apple only shares it the first time you sign in).
Delivery information
Delivery addresses you save or enter at checkout, including the area/street details and the exact map location you pin — used to calculate whether we deliver there and what the delivery fee is. Any notes you add for the rider.
Order information
The items, quantities, and prices for orders you place, along with order status and any notes you include.
Wishlist
Products you save to your wishlist, if you're signed in.
Information kept only on your device
Your cart contents and recently viewed products are stored locally on your phone. We don't receive them until you actually check out.
How we use your information
- To process and deliver your orders, and to reach you — by phone or WhatsApp — about them
- To calculate delivery fees based on distance from our store
- To let you sign in, save addresses, and view your order history
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We don't run any analytics or ad-tracking in the app.
Payment
We only accept Cash on Delivery. We never collect or store card numbers, bank details, or any other payment information — there's nothing of that kind for us to protect, because we never receive it.
Third-party services
- Google — powers Google Sign-In and the delivery-location map used to set your delivery address. Your name/email (for sign-in) or pinned location (to look up an address) is shared with Google only for these purposes.
- Apple — powers Sign in with Apple, for iOS users who choose it.
- WhatsApp — when you tap to order or get support via WhatsApp, your phone number and the message content are shared with WhatsApp/Meta, the same as any WhatsApp conversation you start yourself.
Data retention & deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from the You tab in the app — see how to delete your account for the exact steps and what's kept vs. removed. In short: your name, phone, email, PIN, saved addresses, and wishlist are permanently deleted immediately. Past orders are kept for our business and accounting records (including the name/phone as they were at the time of that order), but are no longer linked to an active account.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us below. If you're in Zimbabwe, these requests are handled in line with the Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12].
Children
Easy Concept is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone using our app or site without a parent or guardian's involvement.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and post the new version here.
